Why make your wallpaper here

A wallpaper has a job: fit one screen, stay sharp and leave room for the clock and the icons. The generator is set up for exactly that.

  • 01

    Made for your screen shape

Pick 9:16 for a phone, 16:9 for a desktop, 21:9 for an ultrawide monitor or 3:4 for a tablet before you generate, so the scene is composed for that screen instead of cropped out of a square.

  • 02

    4K at no extra cost

Seedream 4.5 renders up to 2304 × 4096 for phones and 4096 × 2304 for desktops. 4K costs the same credits as 2K, so pick 2K only when you want a smaller file.

  • 03

    Room for the clock

Every request carries a short wallpaper brief that asks for one full-bleed scene with no device mockup, frame or app icons and, on tall shapes, for the main subject below the top quarter, where the lock-screen clock sits.

  • 04

    Any style you can describe

Photographic landscapes, painterly skies, anime-style scenes, soft pastel aesthetics, minimal gradients or dark scenes for OLED screens: write it in plain words and the model handles light and composition.

  • 05

    Two models, two prices

Seedream 4.5 makes most wallpapers for 10 credits. Nano Banana 2, at 20 credits, adds 21:9 for ultrawide monitors and larger 4K files, up to 3072 × 5504 for phones.

  • 06

    Pay per wallpaper

See the price before you generate, make up to 4 wallpapers in one run, and get the credits back automatically when a generation fails or is cancelled.

How to make an AI wallpaper

No app to install and nothing to design by hand.

  1. 01

    Describe the wallpaper

Name the subject, the mood, the colors and the style in a sentence or two.

  2. 02

    Pick the screen and size

Choose the shape for your device and 2K or 4K. For 21:9 ultrawide, switch the model to Nano Banana 2.

  3. 03

    Download and set it

Save the image, then set it as your lock screen, home screen or desktop background in your device's settings.

What is an AI wallpaper generator?

An AI wallpaper generator, or AI wallpaper maker, turns a written description into a background image for a screen. Instead of searching wallpaper sites for something close enough, you describe the scene, the colors and the mood you want, and an image model paints a new picture that did not exist before.

AI Wallpaper Generator runs two image models for you in the browser: Seedream 4.5 by ByteDance and Nano Banana 2 by Google. You choose the shape of your screen and the resolution first, so the image is generated at that shape rather than stretched or cropped afterwards.

Which shape fits your screen?

Pick the shape before you write the prompt: a tall phone scene and a wide desktop scene need different compositions. Most current phones are a little taller than 9:16, so they trim a thin strip from each side; keep the subject near the middle.

The sizes below are those of Seedream 4.5, the default model. Nano Banana 2 renders the same shapes a little larger at 4K and adds 21:9.

  • Phones: 9:16, 1440 × 2560 at 2K or 2304 × 4096 at 4K
  • Desktops and laptops: 16:9, 2560 × 1440 or 4096 × 2304
  • Ultrawide monitors: 21:9 with Nano Banana 2, 3168 × 1344 or 6336 × 2688
  • Tablets: 3:4 upright or 4:3 sideways, up to 3072 × 4096
  • Square: 1:1, up to 4096 × 4096, to crop later

How credits and pricing work

Every wallpaper is paid with credits, and the price shows before you press Generate: 10 credits with Seedream 4.5 and 20 with Nano Banana 2, at 2K or 4K. Four wallpapers in one run cost four times as much.

Credits come from monthly plans, from $9.99 for 1,000 credits, or one-time packs, from $4.99 for 400 credits. That is about $0.09–$0.12 per Seedream 4.5 wallpaper and $0.18–$0.25 per Nano Banana 2 wallpaper. Signing up is free, there are no free credits, and failed or cancelled generations are refunded automatically.

Tips for better wallpapers

A wallpaper sits behind icons, widgets and a clock, so calm compositions usually work best:

  • Lead with the scene, then add the mood, the colors and the style.
  • Ask for open space, such as sky or water, where the clock or icons go.
  • Dark scenes suit OLED screens and night use, and keep icons readable.
  • Save busy detail for the lock screen; keep the home screen calmer.
  • Generate two or four at once and keep the best one.
  • Put any words in quotation marks and keep them short.

AI wallpaper generator questions

Is the AI wallpaper generator free?

Signing up is free and the prompt library is free to copy, but there are no free credits or trial wallpapers. Each wallpaper uses purchased credits: 10 with Seedream 4.5 or 20 with Nano Banana 2, shown before you generate.

What resolution are the wallpapers?

At 4K, Seedream 4.5 makes 2304 × 4096 phone wallpapers and 4096 × 2304 desktop wallpapers, and Nano Banana 2 makes 3072 × 5504 and 5504 × 3072. 2K sizes are smaller, for example 1440 × 2560 for a phone, at the same price.

Can it make live or animated wallpapers?

No. AI Wallpaper Generator makes still images only. Live and animated wallpapers need a video or a wallpaper app, which this site does not produce. Any still you make here works as a normal lock screen or desktop background.

Will the wallpaper fit my phone exactly?

Close to it. Most current phones are a little taller than 9:16, so they fill the height and trim a thin strip at each side. At 4K (2304 × 4096) the image still has more pixels than the screen, so it is scaled down, not up.

Can I make wallpapers of celebrities or anime characters?

No. Wallpapers of real people, brand logos and existing copyrighted characters are not allowed, and the model is asked for an original design instead. Describe the mood, colors and style you like, such as an anime-style sunset over a seaside town.

Can I use the wallpapers commercially?

Yes. You may use the wallpapers you create for personal and commercial projects, as long as your prompts respect other people's rights and our terms of service.

What happens if a generation fails?

Failed or cancelled generations are refunded to your balance automatically, so a run that produces nothing costs you nothing.

Do I need to install an app?

No. The generator runs in the browser on a phone or a computer. Download the image, then set it as your wallpaper in your device's settings.
